Tell me what's on your mind

Mrs. Y, Indie Reviewer

January 18, 2019 - Hey, guys so here is the first review on my story A Game of Survival by Mrs. Y. Honestly, she was amazing and so was her review. It was honest, insightful, and they showed what they thought about it - both positively and negativity, handling it well as any reviewer should. I appreciate the well-thought of review she put into and, like her, I can't wait for her to read the next installments.

"How often do you read fantasy that gets you thinking about your real life and the world you are in? It’s not an everyday thing for me. I've noticed from reading other reviews that sometimes people read fiction to escape the realities of the real world. Well my friends in today’s review, we are going to talk about a book that transcends the fantasy world and the real world in a way that is beautiful. I hope you all find this to be an enjoyable review, because, this was an enjoyable book! Make sure you have your friends whispering in your ears, be sure you steal the excellent bread, and whatever you do, do not upset sweet Kadda by doing anything to her mommy. It’s time to review “A Game of Survival” by T.R Tells.

..
.Though this story is long, it’s a lot of fun. The world building, religion creation, magic creation, politics, history and foreshadowing and all of those elements that go as the foundation work to a story, are superb. Top notch work, it’s massive, and it’s excellent. This is akin to the world building of Terry Brooks, George RR Martin, and JK Rowling. What I specifically mean is that the above-listed authors, built worlds that are intricate. Despite the details, they know where all of the pieces fit so that the reading experience is better in their novels and worlds. I love that kind of world-building, the details matter and so do the big ticket items in it. T.R Tells did a phenomenal job with everything that she was working toward in the story. And, her characters are as endearing as her world building...."

I really enjoyed T.R. Tells' story A Game of Survival. My attention was maintained the entire time. The characters are relatable even in a world of magic. The topics of governmental abuse of power. This simple fact tells me that she did a job well done. When an author makes you forget the real world for a little bit, A+. The character development was well done, and I have no problem following his or her journey.

The story of Thea deals with very heavy topics such as ageism, sexism, and racism; topics that still occur today.

A totally wild ride from start to finish. This book is not for the faint of heart. With characters you grow to love quickly, you get to sit back and watch as next to nothing works out in their favour. And yet hope still dangles, making this book a page turner. You desperately want to see some glimmer of joy, before it is snatched away. Nothing is predictable in this book, making it a captivating read.
I am eager to read the upcoming sequel!

This was a wonderful tale of adventure, adversity, love and mystery as a young girl, Thea grows into a young woman. The trials and tribulations and losses she is subjected to make her strong even though she feels weak. Mind you this story does stop as a cliff hanger....ugh!!! I can’t wait for the next installment
